12 AUGUST 2021
Members,
A number of members have informed me that they are interested in participating in the run to Braidwood on Sunday 15th August as
advertised in the Winter 2021 edition of The Capital Letter.
The weather is forecast to be 15 degrees and sunny, there is no problem with the Braidwood Bakery and no Covid issues anywhere near the area,
subject of course to the usual social distancing and face-mask wearing when out and about and in the Bakery when not eating or drinking.
There being therefore no reason to cancel or postpone this run, I look forward to seeing you in Braidwood at around 10.30 a.m.
Please turn left off the main street into Wilson Street near the small war memorial at the top of the hill, and we may have some chance of parking our cars all
together in this busy and popular little town.
Regards to all,
Martin Bennett
Branch Secretary

02 JUNE 2021
Our next scheduled Branch meeting is to be held on Wednesday 2 June, and as the Federal Executive have just approved (at the recent Geelong Federal Rally), for the 2022 Federal Rally to be held here in Canberra next 3rd – 7th March, it is time to start the planning process for it.
Past ACT Federal Rallies have been very highly regarded by our interstate colleagues and we are confident that our next Federal Rally will be similarly warmly anticipated and attended.
BUT, to achieve another such successful outcome, considerable planning, organisation and implementation of that planning needs to take place over the coming months.
So, Wednesday’s meeting will start with a very short bi-monthly Branch meeting, followed by a “Rally” meeting, all to commence at 6.30pm so that we don’t have to have a late night.
We are particularly appealing for input and support from as many of you ACT Branch members as possible, and so any assistance you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
The meeting will be held here at the Branch Secretary's residence from 6.30pm
